The Senate Committee on Student Discipline met six times during the 2004-2005 academic year1 and considered a total of four appeals from action of its Subcommittee on Undergraduate Student Conduct (SUSC):

The Chair has noted that two of the student members did not attend any of the scheduled meetings of the Committee. This made it difficult at times to achieve a quorum for the consideration of appeals. The Chair encourages full student and faculty participation in the future.

Disciplinary Records Checks (n= 336)
Records checks are done at the request of students applying to law schools, the Illinois State Bar Character and Fitness Committee, and various agencies that do background checks for governmental security clearances. A signed release by the student is required to access this information. We also did discipline checks for students wanting to be trained as CARE facilitators.
