CC.01.03 Nomination for Chair of the Search Committee to Advise the President on the Selection of a Chancellor
The University Statutes, Article I, Section 5, states: "On the occasion of the appointment of a new chancellor, the President shall have the advice of a committee selected by the Senate of the campus concerned." President James J. Stukel has asked the Urbana-Champaign Senate to submit to him the names of persons to serve on this Committee.
The nominee named below has been selected as Chair from a short list provided by the Committee on Committees after consultation with the Senate Council and the President.
