Here is an outline of our committee’s work for the year. I think we had a very productive session during 2002-2003.

Completed:

CG.01.10, Rule 44 (Repeated Undergraduate Courses)
Status: Approved by Ed Pol, ready to bring before Senate for information before sending on to the Chancellor.

CG, 02.01, Rule 102 (Minor change to composition of the OFAB)
Status: Approved, ready to send on to the Chancellor.

CG 02.04 Putting a “digest” version of the Code online. The final text has been edited we will be posting it on the SCSD web site soon.

CG 02.05, Rule 15 (Clarifies policies on ID cards)
Status: Approved, ready to bring before Senate for information before sending on to the Chancellor.

CG 02.06, Rules 72, 77 (Clarifies notations used on transcripts)
Status: Approved, ready to send on to the Chancellor.

CG 02.07, Rules 11, 12, 14 (Wording changes to clarify different degrees of violent misconduct)
Status: Discussed by Senate, ready to send on to the Chancellor.

CG 02.08, Rule 103 (Membership changes to the Committee on the Use of Facilities)
Status: Approved, ready to send on to the Chancellor.

CG 02.09, Rule 103 (Posting material on campus bulletin boards)
Status: Approved, ready to bring before Senate for information before sending on to the Chancellor.

CG 03.01, Rules 36 and 46 (Study Abroad)
Status: Approved, ready to send on to the Chancellor.

(Accommodating religious holidays)
Status: Approved, ready to send on to the Chancellor.

CG 03.03, Rule 11 (
Off-campus jurisdiction)
Status: Approved, ready to bring before Senate for information before sending on to the Chancellor.

CG 03.04, Rule 58, (Minor wording changes on withdrawal because of military service)
Status: Approved, ready to send on to the Chancellor.

CG 03.07, Rule 73 (Credit-No Credit Grading Option)
Status: Approved, ready to send on to the Chancellor.

Pending:


CG.01.14, Rule 46 (Late Adds)
Status: Negotiating final language with Ed Pol.

Finishing work on CG 03.05 (Rule 62, Student Records) and CG 03.06 (Rule 17, Alcohol Policy). We will bring these to the Senate at the start of the Fall.
